You'd be surprised, perhaps, to learn that the average age of the religious traveler appears to be coming down slightly. Of past religious travelers, 17% fell into the 45-to-54 range and 24% were in the 55-to-64 range. But of potential religious travelers, 23% fall into the 45-to-54 age range and 22% in the 55-to-64. And I can tell you from my experience in arranging group travel that while the older Seniors are still joining these tours, the majority of group tour participants are yet still physically active. You know, last year the oldest Baby Boomers turned 65. These days, that is still young, and most Baby Boomers are between the ages of 45-65, which happens to correspond to the largest demographic of potential religious travelers! That's exciting!
So, these aren't your "grandmother's old folks" bus tour people. These are people like you and me, who want to get out and experience a destination, explore the roots of their faith, and have fun and fellowship at the same time!
