The most common travel event in this arena will be an escorted group tour whose Group Leader serves as the Spiritual Director for the Group. Generally, he or she will be a priest, a pastor, a lay minister, or other clergy or Religious. These tours come in three varieties:
A Faith Heritage Tour will include a lot of sightseeing to sites of importance to both your faith's Doctrine, Founders, History, and often includes a daily worship experience or at least a couple of worship events - for instance, baptism or renewal of baptismal vows at the Jordan River, or daily Mass, or a Communion Service or Memorial Service, Praise and Worship session, and so forth.
A Pilgrimage also visits important sacred sites for your Faith, definitely includes worship services or daily Masses and usually is centered around a particular Theme: perhaps following in the footsteps of an individual or focusing on an event important in your Faith History, for example Pope John Paul II, St Paul, Mary, Calvin, Wesley, the Jewish Patriarchs and Matriarchs, Mohammed, for instance.
A Secular sightseeing tour may be organized purely to "just have fun" enjoying touring an exciting destination with like-minded people who share your Beliefs which provides instant camaraderie.
